When does CultchaFreak charge for pre-orders?

We charge once the order has been placed. CultchaFreak orders stock based upon pre-order purchases, meaning that upon payment, your purchase is guaranteed for delivery as soon as it's in our warehouse.

Is my pre-order guaranteed?

Yes. CultchaFreak orders stock based upon pre-order levels and demand. If 10 people purchase an item that is available for pre-order, CultchaFreak will purchase several additional units to ensure stock arrives to fulfill demand.

When will my pre-ordered item arrive?

We aim to meet our estimated shipment dates for items on pre-order. Occasionally, a delay may occur when a manufacturer pushes back a release date. If this should happen, CultchaFreak will contact all customers and provide a new shipment date.

Orders containing a combination of pre-order and in-stock items will be combined and dispatched in a single shipment. To avoid this, place separate orders for in-stock and pre-order items.

We're pop culture freaks and we're collectors. We're fussy about the condition of our items, and while our team doesn't consider themselves expert graders, we provide as accurate-as-possible condition details for each and every item we stock (when relevant).

Understanding the grades

We're as accurate-as-possible with our condition information, but grading is highly subjective. As such, what one person considers to be 'near mint' is undoubtedly not the same for everybody.

The condition of new and incoming stock is marked down based on box damage and other noteworthy blemishes. Despite this, CultchaFreak might still rate the item as 'excellent' should the damage be deemed to be insignificant. Similarly, a product marked as 'acceptable' may have some form of box damage or blemishes to the box.

For vaulted and hard-to-find stock, CultchaFreak takes into account a multitude of factors when grading an item, including the rarity and condition of comparable goods available. As such, a vaulted item might have some blemishes or box damage despite being marked as 'excellent' or 'acceptable'.

Collectors who seek 'near-mint' or 'mint' boxes are encouraged to contact our support team via live chat, phone or email for further information pertaining to the condition of a specific product.

Paint Defects and Quality Control

Please note that CultchaFreak has no control or power over paint defects on products manufactured by Funko. We do not downgrade items based on such defects. Items with paint defects are ineligible for returns.

However, it is worth bearing in mind that most new releases from Funko have seen significant improvements in the Quality Control procedure. Vaulted and hard to find stock from the manufacturer may have noticeable paint defects.

Can I see a photo of an item?

You sure can! Our team is happy to provide photos of any in stock item stored in the CultchaFreak vault, otherwise known as our warehouse. To request photos simply contact our live support team or click the 'Ask about this product' button.
